Slinky and the Chinese Rescue Sausage Dog is a children’s picture book written by Christine Barker and illustrated by Rachel Newell.
The story is based on Christine’s real life dog, which has been rescued from China.
The book is co-published by Zymurgy and the DMT Dachshund Support Group – a charity that rescues dachshunds from China and South Korea.
