Hadaway Hitler is based on John Solomon’s childhood memories during Britains’ finest hour’ of World War II.
The country may have been suffering from air-raids and rationing, but it was not going to stop the nation’s children enjoying life: hunting for shrapnel, wild adventures, cowboys and indians, football and cricket.
John grew-up in Blaydon, a town on the southern bank of the Tyne, up-river from Newcastle/Gateshead.
